Coe brought them together.

In addition to significant relationships with professors and peers, many Coe students meet and develop relationships with a future spouse while at Coe. Bonnie met Bill Rembacz in 1960, when she was a freshman and he was a junior. One of Bonnie's favorite traditions at Coe was the fraternity pinning ceremony. She was pinned to Bill in October of 1963.What she recalls most fondly about this ceremony was the traditional serenading by the fraternity brothers, including Nile Norton, '63.

Where is she now? Bonnie and Bill got married in 1966. After Bill retired from the Air Force, they made their home in Utah. After earning a Master's Degree in Education, Bonnie devoted herself to the classroom as a first grade teacher. In retirement, she enjoys spending her time golfing, participating in various clubs and traveling. Zambia is a favorite destination as three of her ten grandchildren reside there.
